Here are a few words from our dedicated Wholistic Woofer Pet Parents

Vivian has helped me trained Leia since she was four months old.  Vivian is very knowledgeable about dogs and her class is engaging.  She is also very patient working with my dog and me.  I also had the opportunity to attend Vivian’s dog nutrition class which had me started to cook and feed my dog healthier homemade food. Leia and I had learned a lot from Vivian and will continue for the CGC class and to become a future therapy dog.

We were seeking private, in-home trainings for our two Australian Shepherds - one for curbing leash anxiety/aggression and one for building confidence and learning basic commands.

We were very impressed with how knowledgeable and experienced Vivian was with our dogs' personalities. She seemed to know exactly how to approach both situations after a short initial evaluation.  Vivian was always punctual, prepared, and came with printouts we could reference to continue practicing at home.  By the end of the training sessions, we saw immense progress and were set up with the tools to continue working with our dogs into the future. We highly recommend Vivian to anyone seeking reasonably priced and effective training.

As part of working with Vivian, one great plus is getting her recommendations on dog gear (such as harnesses and leashes) and nutritional supplements.  Vivian also makes her own natural dog treats that our pups LOVED!

We picked up our little fluffy bundle of joy she was only 8 weeks old. Lexi is my first fur baby and I wouldn't trade her for anything or anyone in the world.

We realized early on Lexi needed training because everytime she saw a leash she would run away and hid. She hid often until we signed her up for training with Vivian Tjeng.

In less than two months Lexi was excited everytime she saw her leash. She knew it was time for a walk outside. Lexi now knows what it means whenever she see me holding her leash. She loves it and runs to the door. Vivian has trained our Lexi on several other commands. Lexi still shows us often how much she's learned from her training.

If you have a fur baby who you love like a family member and needs minor or major training, make an appointment with Vivian Tjeng who is an awesome trainer and honest person.

Thank you Vivian for being the "Pet Whisper " you are. Lexi and I wouldn't trade the training you've given us for anything in the world.

Vivian is an excellent teacher. She is able to determine the needs of her furry and human clients and put them in context so they are achievable, satisfying, useful and lasting. She has the perfect blend of keeping control of the lessons but still making them fun and meaningful. I love her concept of “shaping” a behavior. I’ve even tried it on my husband (and it works)!

When Vivian left PetCo and started her own business, Wholistic Woofers & CO., I could already see that she had additional talents and skills that could be put to use in personal business setting. I am very particular about who I let into my home and I had no hesitation about having her come to my home for private lessons. Vivian is a professional - always on time, always answering e-mails and questions in a timely and professional manner. She gives more than asked for or expected. She is very talented and it is clear she loves animals and enjoys her work.

We are working [with Vivian] on a Canine Freestyle routine with Kyrie “Singing in the Rain” and enjoying it so much. We look forward to performing and will have tons of confidence to do this through Vivian’s help!

We have been acquainted with Vivian for about seven years now, ever since our dog, Paddington, was about a year old.  We did a series of obedience classes with her, and have remained in contact with occasional visits and ad hoc training sessions.

One of the key distinguishing traits in Vivian’s business dealings is her commitment to building and retaining relationships with her clients and their pets.  She makes a conscious effort to keep in touch with her clients.  She may be a dog trainer primarily, but she demonstrates a keen interest in the human factor as well.

As a trainer, Vivian stands out as a well-informed, knowledgeable, and experienced professional in her field.  She takes the time to explain her objectives and the steps required to achieve those objectives.  She definitely has a way with animals, and seems to “read” them fairly quickly.  She employs a gentle but firm approach towards her four-legged clients, challenges their instincts, and she usually persuades them to follow her lead.

Vivian most definitely knows her stuff, she knows her furry clients, and she understands pet parents.  Vivian is also committed to ongoing education, and invests in honing her skills and keeping up with developments within her industry.

We would recommend Vivian without any reservations.

Iris came out of this place a different cat! It's clear that Vivian and her team love and care for the animals above all else. They all seemed to understand Iris's personality and were able to work with her specific traits quickly.

Iris didn't know any tricks when she came in, but she was able to quickly learn the commands "sit" and "high five" with Vivian and the team!

She was also able to become more comfortable around dogs, which is something we never thought we'd see.

Most importantly—for Iris, at least—Vivian was able to minimize her discomfort with a harness and leash. Now, we can take her outside and let her roam whilst knowing she is safe.

Iris isn't the only one that learned something new—we did too! Vivian always offered different kinds of treats to Iris, which made it very easy for us to learn what she liked (or disliked). She did the same with harness—we learned that Iris likes to be as physically unrestrained as possible. Treats, harnesses, catnips, calming wipes—Vivian has all kinds of tricks up her sleeve, and you never know what you'll learn about your pet!

We one hundred percent recommend Vivian—we wouldn't go to anyone else!
